Meet Stella
Hey, I’m Stella, a German au pair, the voice behind this podcast and a firm believer that nobody should have to navigate life abroad alone.
A simple gap year quickly turned into the biggest adventure of my life. It took me from a rematch after just 4 weeks in San Francisco to 11 amazing months with a host family in Florida and now to Boston for my 2nd year as an au pair!
Along the way, I’ve experienced exciting moments, messy moments, homesick moments and everything in between. That’s exactly why I created Stella’s Au Pair Diaries – a place for honest conversations, practical advice, community confessions and all the things nobody tells you before becoming an au pair.
I hope to be the big sister I wish I had when I first arrived in the U.S. – someone who reminds you that you’re not alone figuring things out.
